Demonstration against government budget cuts on the stairs of Helsinki Cathedral. I'm not quite sure though if it was about to start, in progress or already gone.

I like this kind of the reporter photos. Good cropped composition, fine details. This is not so massive demonstration indeed.

Hello Kari,
I recognised the stairs and columns of the Helsinki Cathedral. It seems like a very quiet and peaceful demonstration, the people seem to be enjoying the sun more and one of the people had clearly already decided to go elsewhere on this sunny day, when you took the photo. Great capture of this event.

Hi Kari,it is unfortunate that the words are not fully booked, my perfect knowledge of the Finnish language would help me a lot..ehehhe....but i know very well this staircase that i seen in the last summer,an original post from the symbol of Helsinki very sharp and bright,i like it! Hello Kari,
This staircase is a superb place for photos for the interesting graphics it offers. I used it myself on my only visit to Helsinki. The cathedral is among the most magnificent Nordic churches and provides a fine background. In this photo the rather lacklustre demonstration is a perfect complement to the steps.
