Fleurs des champs
Quel est le symbole du coquelicot ?
Dans leur symbolique, chaque fleur ŕ son langage. Le coquelicot, belle fleur ŕ la robe d'un rouge éclatant et aux pétales doux comme la soie, également appelée pavot sauvage, peut avoir trois significations distinctes. D'une part, il est le symbole du repos, de la quiétude et de la consolation.

Hello Philippe,
Poppies are probably my favourite wild flowers, and here they are beautifully mixed with the yellow straws (rye?). The red and yellow have created a wonderful view which would have made any impressionist painter happy. I think the colours benefit from the cloudy sky and probably made a perfect exposure easier.

C'est toujours un plaisir de conduire sur les routes de campagne en France, juste pour apprécier les coquelicots.Nous n'en avons pas chez nous. Il faut avouer que c'est plus beau que des pissenlits.

L'étendue du champ donne de la profondeur ŕ la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des fleurs. La lumičre fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Philippe, a very pleasing scene, the poppies stand out so clearly even those in the background.
The horizon in silhouette frames the field beautifully. The sky although cloudy completes the picture.

There is no doubting the significance of the French poppies!

This is a beautiful photograph revealing the red poppies growing side-by-side with the cereal crop.
They add warmth and vivacity to the scene!
The scene appears almost like a painting, beautiful in every way.

Poppies in field are always pleasant flowers.
The poppy flower is in the United Kingdom, but also in many other countries, a symbol of the First World War, because they flourished frequently on the battlefields in Flanders.

Sous un ciel d'orage imminent on retrouve les belles couleurs des épis de maďs dorés et des nombreux coquelicots.
Une combinaison merveilleuse et cela jusqu'ŕ la sombre foręt en arričre-plan.

we don't get to see many poppy field photos on TE, this is a very welcome sight :) In fact, I have never seen one in person. It must be wonderful to see this. the red flowers show up well against the yellows. This is where adding saturation is very useful and needed. excellent shot. cheers
