Photographer's Note

The times follow one another with great figures of the History: Jeanne of Arc will pass by the village.
King François 1st will remain there at the time of appointment of hunting. The Revolution will drive out the monks, and the basilica is saved of accuracy of the demolition. Arrive then the second world war.
The monks returned since 1945 to live there according to same rules; thus the abbey lives at the prayer and the religious offices six times per day.
The entrance of the park is forbiden to the public, the general sight of the abbey is accessible from the entrance of the school of St Benoit.

I think the picture should include more foreground and be in vertical format. Of course, I don't know what was in the foreground. Maybe it was unattractive or cluttered.

Magnifique architecture, belle lumičre, c'est excellent, Saďd.
Le cadrage en revanche a dű vous torturer j'imagine. Format vertical ou non, je pense que j'aurais inclus un peu plus du mur en bas, histoire de montrer pourquoi nous ne pouvons pas voir l'édifice en entier (ce que vous expliquez, d'ailleurs).

Trčs belle, voire magnifique Abbaye. L'architecture est superbe. L'hiver a parfois des avantages pour assurer une belle photo (les arbres sont dénudés) et découvrir ainsi des trésors cachés par les feuilles d'été. Il reste quelques résineux ; il semble difficile de les abattre !
Excellente netteté. Quant au mur, ce n'est pas bien grave, car je pense qu'il était difficile de faire mieux.

Very nice lighting and this is a very nice angle to capture such a buildng. There are so many levels to it and it rises nicely from the trees in this mountainous form. It's very sharp also and with great colors. Great job.

La qualité de la photo est superbe et le cadrage aussi.
Les réglages sont trčs bon et je prend note pour essayez de mon coté a faire de bonne image. Le mur ne me dérange pas trop a moi.
