Photographer's Note
strolling around in Paris with Dominique, Michael & Marike and, of course, Rinie, we decided to do some less beaten off paths and see the ordinary Paris and meet Pascal.
I was so relaxed, enchanted by the colors of the beauty parlor that I realized the lady has caught me in the act only later, while sorting the images. What an aplomb ;)
In the wss, Pascal and a very attentive Dominique ;)
Cheers!

pp: colors were tricky here, and I tried to make them warmer in that gray day. hope you like it.

This one is amazingly rich in the stories it tells...so many contrasting elements, reflections, light...details, details...I could easily have mistaken this to have been taken in the seventies! Very well done.

Very nice scene at the hairdressing salon, Isabel. Fun glance by the lady inside who is observing you, and good timing to have the other woman outside at the left. A lot of details to be found in this one; I also like the faded look of the model photos on the sign; it looks like they have been putting this sign outside for a decade without changing much of its content. Well observed ;)

The hairdresser set his customer into the shop window, so that also the passanten saw something. The hairdresser salons fascinate me much. One only approaches unfortunately rarely close enough to the customers. This is an interesting picture. One could make a whole series from em topic. Greeting, Wolfgang

Dear Isabel,
I agree with all that's said above, but with this caveat: this should really be in BW, so as to emphasize the relationship and glances. All color does here (for me, and I'm a colorist!) is distract...
Best,
Francis

Boa noite Isabel,
As cores, luz e nitidez sáo muito bóas. Parabéns pelo "olho"!
Saludos,
Carlos

Gosto destas coręs bem saturadas por aqui. Bela imagem do cotidiano. Realmente o olhar da senhora que seca o cabelo adiciona muito a imagem.Parabęns.

Hello again, Isabel. Your gallery is full of inventive angles, interesting graphical effects, humour, and lively titles! Very creative and under-rated, I think. I found this one very amusing, and in this case the tilt is very effective in making us somehow more attentive to the passer-by in the bottom left corner. But you know, I think the hairdresser was also looking at you. The colours are fine, not looking over-saturated at all. An excellent daily life shot.
Regards,
Andrew

Bel,
Pegou mesmo ... Mas interessante que ficou legal essa trca de intimidades, como o momento exato em que as estrelas se encontram.
Abraço e luz procę
