There's something about the ambiance which captivates me, maybe its the starkness which so cleverly highlights the lone human form or maybe its the sublime stone texture and its colours. good composition.

Hi Grazyna,
I am also very impressed,the kind of scene I really like,
the tones are also marvelous in my opinion.I feel here the
charm of Paris no doubt.Nevertheless I think that I would have
cropped the water in order to get more close.Have a great weekend.

Hi Grazyna,

this scene has sth very unusual...it seems like a moment from other time...past time. The man with umbrella and a quick glance at the scene...it appears like he is walking just opposite of a river's stream. A man with his own will perhaps? Or he is just a guy happens to stroll along the river, slowly going down... Anyway this variety of the scene with its textures and surfaces of symblic white upper part and dark river of powerful stream diminishes this man with an umbrella to the minimum but still he is the most poweful motive of this shot. I do not know, possibly all of the above written is rubish and this capture has such a great and strange effect because of whole other different reasons unknown to me. One is clear, it is very impressive and captivating.

grażynko ty moja droga, szczerze ci powiem, że takie zdjęcia to ty sobie mogłaś popelniać dwa lata temu, ale teraz to ja stanowczo protestuję i domagam się powrotu do najwyższej półki trekertowiczów...to zdjęcie jest za proste, za bardzo bez przekazu (szczególnego), bez wyjawienia talentu jaki zwykle pokazujesz...

I believe, Grazyna, that the strong point here is that we do not see a tourist or someone just taking a stroll... he seems to be on his way to work, or back from it... probably this attractive walk along the Seine is his daily routine... the umbrella is a good eye catcher... the almost monochrome has good impact too, cheers ;) Daniel

J'aime celle-ci pour les teintes usées et la texture du mur ainsi que l'attitude déterminée de cet homme... Quelques années de plus et je suis bien certain qu'il ressemblerait ŕ mon vieil homme du jour...
En tout cas je trouve qu'il y manque un peu de netteté pour celle-ci, tu vas penser que je me venge (;... Remarque je crois que c'est toi qui avait une théorie sur le fait que les hommes aiguisaient toujours plus la netteté que les femmes... Va savoir...

J'aime beaucoup cette image assez minimaliste mas tres efficace. La testure des murs, le manteau noir, le parpluie, cet homme qui s'avance dans cet environnement monochrome vers son destin. Tres bien vu, tres bien execute.

wspolczesny muszkieter w chlodnym miejskim krajobrazie... idac do celu czesto mamy takie nieprzyjemne etapy do pokonania, ale nad Sekwana spacer w takiej scenerii tez ma swoj urok

I like it very much ! a timeless shot, a moviescene, so simple ...but the perfect man with the big coat walking on the borders of the Seine ...with his umbrella, the detail that makes the shot. great one !!

J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance et le "mise en scčne" (voir la mise en Seine) de cette photo, mais je me demande si une vrai désaturation n'aurait pas été mieux je trouve que la couleur du visage et de la main ressort un peu trop sur cette photo.
Du bon boulot, quoi qu'il en soit avec cet arričre plan trčs graphique.

There is not a one, bloody pixel I would move around or alterate...

Bonjour Grazyna ! Cette photo-ci est différente dans ta série, j'aime bien aussi, cet homme d'affaire plutôt chic qui marche d'un pas pressé sur un quai désert : je suppose que c'est un raccourci, il n'a pas l'air de se promener !
Quelles proportions - et quelles couleurs intéressantes !
