Photographer's Note
Among many shots of this nice wooden sailing boat, I found that one of the most interesting was this one focusing on the wood texture, the ropes. I thought it was a good way to emphasize on the noble elements such boats are made of.
This time, the only alteration to the original picture was the sharpening effect.

I like the comp too. And the image is interesting. You made a very good decision not to blur out the background entirely - very good, controlled use of DOF.

Very sharp image and bright colours. It looks like we can touch the wood and ropes and feel the texture.
Framing is perfect and depth is incredible too...

J'ai toujours une certaine prédilestion pour les bateaux en bois. Surtout quand leur age ajoute au charme de leur struture et de leur couleurs.
Bravo pour ce cliché.

A very nice and clear picture I like the texture of the picture. The wood really gives out good texture sense there. Also I like the perspective.
