Warm weather and avalanches!
A steep mountain slope and a good layer of snow, if we add the warmth ... room for the risk of avalanche (s)!
That this hiker seems tiny at the bottom of these snow slides ...

Hello Jean,
The traces of the avalanche look impressive, or rather scary. The dimensions of the area and the forces of nature become more evident when we see the tiny yellow hiker at the bottom of the slope. It's not the little yellow man of the Google map, is it? ;-)

The hiker in orange attire catches the eye. Good sharpness and excellent shadow detail in the fg. The scars of the avalanche are obvious. Tfs!

The hiker looks to be in a hazardous position but I am sure he kn own what he is doing. He certainly gives the scale to this winter scene.

Bonjour Jean, there is no doubt that if an avalanche were to happen, the hiker would have no chance of survival. The scale of the scene is very apparent when we see the tiny hiker!
The 'portrait' presentation has allowed you to show so much of the mountainside.
I like the inclusion of the river in the foreground.

A good vertical composition to show the large snowy slopes with the avalanche in the middle. Very well captured from a good viewpoint with that tiny person also well included.

The avalanche site almost looks peaceful but we know what it can mean.
A good photo of the avalanche with the hiker in orange adds a touch of variety.

When you identify the hiker, everything else seems massive by comparison! The steep, snow slope above him, looks to have slid or be about to slide!
Was the hiker in danger?
This is on a grand scale!

A en juger par la couleur, l'avalanche a également entraîné une partie de la roche avec elle.
En fait, la seule personne que nous voyons dans ce paysage se trouve dans un endroit trčs dangereux.
Heureusement, la photo a été prise ŕ une distance sécuritaire.

Snow avalanches are the greatest risk in the mountains, here you have captured very well this large amount of snow that has slid down the slope, the person we see in yellow next to it is something tiny compared to the snow mountain .
