Photographer's Note

The mount Gerbier-de-Jonc, ancient vulcano culminates at 1551 meters. It is possible to reach the top in 25 minutes while climbing by foot to see a full panorama of the Loire "plateaux" and in clear weather one can see the Alps chain.
From the base of the mount are born several sources which constitute the Loire, it is the starting point for a long course of 1012 km to the Atlantic Ocean at Saint-Nazaire.

I begin a mini topic on the Loire and its sources, not having been able to photograph them, I invite those which wish it to add their pictures, this message also concern our Trekers friends who live the Rhone-Alps area.
