Photographer's Note

Three elements in this photo which contribute to the charm of the Cap Ferret peninsula ... The lighthouse which dominates the pines, the mimosas well flowered in this month of February and an old villa with the facade of colored wood ... it must be added to complete the postcard, the sand and the waters bordering the peninsula (see my next post!)

Bonjour Jean,
The wooden lintel above the entrance to the house, is an attractive designed element and adding interest to the photo.
The red & white light-tower and the yellow flowers tree complement marvelously to the scene.

The trio of elements combine beautifully in your composition to give a triangle of rich colours and different textures.
The mimosa and the villa are tightly connected, with the attractive, red lighthouse protectively watching, in the b/g.

This already looks a lot like spring. The colours are very appealing, especially the mix of the green parts of the house, the yellow flowers and the red lighthouse. Very well put together in a good composition.

What a strange mixture of a German looking wooden gable, French mimosas and a Dutch lighthouse.
The fragrance and scent is missing.

indeed you have managed to get together three exciting elements here, each one separately would be already interesting enough and you enhanced the interest so much by photographing them so nicely aligned.
The lighthouse remains my favourite part but also the elaborate entrance to the house looks so beautiful.
