Often called "the blue hour" these moments between night and day ... here, for this photo capture, the famous morning blue hour was rather red! Glowing sky, upper stage of the lighthouse red in color like the beam of the lighthouse which was still on before daybreak. A photo of the sky and the lighthouse of the Cap Ferret peninsula on a February morning.

It's the red window in the lighthouse that makes this photo special. The colours and silhouettes of the trees are very similar to the last photo.

Hi Jean
The eye is immediately drawn to the lamp room of the lighthouse and then outward to take in the rest of the scene. A lovely capture.

Hello Jean,

From this viewpoint, the lighthouse looks to be illuminated with a red, warning light and the trees seem to possess scary, red eyes!
You have composed the scene very well, the trees occupying one third and the lighthouse nicely presented on the thirds line.

The arbres cadrent bien le phare. La prise d evue permet de voir les détails du phare. Le coucher de soleil donne de belles couleurs au ciel. Bonne journée.

Hello Jean,
Sometimes I think which is prettier: sunrise or sunset because they look different. The gray-blue sky with a patches of the red looks fantastic. The FG with silhouette lighthouse and trees added attraction to the photo. The red cloud behind the image of the lighthouse gives effect of operation.
Getting up early translated into a beautiful photo. Well done!

wow this is a very impressive capture. This time not only the fabuolus sky but also the presence of the lighthouse which seems to send a light of similar color to the burning clouds.

La combinaison du bleu et du rouge rend le ciel particuličrement beau.
La fenętre du phare reflčte un nuage rouge. Soit nous voyons un nuage rouge ŕ travers la partie supérieure du phare. Magnifique, en tout cas.

The red window at the top of the lighthouse seems to be echoing the warm colours in the sky. Good sharpness and framing with nice warm cold colour contrasts. Tfs!

Hello Jean,
When taking pictures during these 'blue hour' , I would prefer sunset. For sunrise, normally I'm still in bed, no way for getting up in the cold morning. Only when I'm holiday in the warm country.
You sure have captured this glowing red 'eyes' in the sky, together with the ever 'watchful-red-eye' scanning the whole Cap Ferret peninsula for any incoming intruders along the coastline.

What an amazing sky! A bit of dark pink is even glowing through the top of the lighthouse. The silhouettes of the trees on the bottom are a great contrast to the beautiful colors above. Take care!

Quelles magnifiques 'lueurs d'espoir' vous ont été reflétées par les nuages ce matin-lŕ. Il est aussi agréable d'apercevoir la lentille du phare y faire un plein débordant d'énergie.
