Photographer's Note
An oldie: a scanned slide of a raildoad crossing. Now they have almost disappeared to prevent to have accidents and some dead people, they are replaced by the bridges or tunnels

Bonjour Claude,
We still have one or two crossings like this on some rural railway lines and unfortunately we still have a number of people who deliberately walk in front of fast moving trains.
But this is a rather nice illustrated warning sign, nicely captured with a blurred fast moving SNCF train in the background.
Excellent!
Amicalement,
John.

Salut Claude,

Hello Claude,
I had missed this "blast from the past", and only saw it now by coincidence. The black and yellow background of a passing train makes the message of the old style sign very clear and obvious. And even regardless of the urgent message it is a very eye-catching and well composed photo.
Best regards,
Gert
