Photographer's Note

Outside a bistrň, I saw a byke partially covered with onions, remembering the story of the Johnnies, as were called young men from Roscoff who used, between the Wars, to cross the channel and go to England to sell one of the most prized products, the "onion rosč".
In Roscoff there is a small museum, Maisons des Johnnies, who tells the story of this significant trade.
