Ah! It's the first time I clicked on the "People" genre on my editing page...

Yes, one of my few pictures of people, but I did it rather safely as you see, and I tryed a way "ŕ la Luko", from the back! Just wish it was as impressive as his shots from the back! ;o)))

Juste un peu dommage pour l'horizon un peu tilté.
J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance printanierre qui regne sur cette photo. Et pourtant c'est l'automme. Le contraste du bleu et du jaune est toujours spectaculaire.

Ah tu es venue et je ne l'ai pas su! Ce beau banc tout neuf est en surplomb de la piscine dite du "Casino". Saint Quay Portrieux est en deux parties sur sa facade maritime, le Vieux Port (Port Trieux) et le Casino, cela correspond ŕ deux histoires, celles des gens d'ici vivant de la mer et ceux qu'on appelle résidents ou "Parisiens", en gros les résidences secondaires des "riches" de l'Ouest de Paris. Ces résidences datent de la premičre partie du 20 čme Siecle. Cette promenade avec "les barričres" blanches s'étend tout au long du "chemin des douaniers" entre le Port Trieux et la pointe de l'Isnin au delŕ du Casino (3 km environ).
La piscine d'eau de mer qui est en dessous ŕ été initiée par le couvent de "Bonnes soeurs" qui est tout proche, et pour faire venir les touristes.
Le personnage sur le Banc n'est pas d'ici,on ne se repose jamais comme cela, sinon je le saurais :-))donc c'est un étranger (la limite de l'étranger pour nous c'est au dela de Saint Brieuc) et comprend tous les Francais et les vrais Etrangers.
J'aime bien ta photo, simple qui donne un coté années 60 ŕ mon coin qui de toutes façon est toujours aménagé comme dans les années 60.

A nice tranquil setting. Lovely color combinations. I like the slight of center position of bench and man.

la vue y est imprenable sur la mer,
j'aime beaucoup le contraste des couleurs (blanc, bleu et jaune)
Attention de ne pas prendre de coup de soleil tout de męme ;o))

Trčs simple mais graphique en męme temps et ce banc jaune sur fond de mer, ça le fait !

Such a peaceful scene. The man relaxing on the bench with a beautiful view to look at. I like the contrasting colours between the yellow of the bench and the two shades of blue from the ocean and the sky. Very nice Luko style shot Viviane. Nice to see you posting again.

Viviane, this is a great photo! The endless see and the bright bench work together marvelously. I don't know if you are familiar with the TV show, Full House, but this guy looks exactly like Uncle Joey! :) Very nice photo, thanks for sharing. ;)

A wonderful composition, Viviane, and a nice reminder of Summer. The colors [sand, yellow, white, blue, blue] are great and his relaxed posture is priceless. This image radiates "lazy days of Summer" and I'm a bit surprised to notice it's from Bretagne (and not Provence). I never thought the Atlantic sea around Amorique could be this calm, I thought it was always roaring. Nice of you to show me the difference. Very well done!

Hello Viviane,
lovely brilliant colours and great tonal display of blues. Wonderfully composed with the guy relaxing on yellow bench. Such a great impact on the shot. The white fence break the monotonous of the blue , giving a stunning impact to the overall composition.
Simple but stunning.
