Czesc Grazyna! Scena jest tak swietna, ze az wydaje sie byc zaaranzowana. Teatralna sceneria, teatralne cienie. Swietna kompozycja. Piekna fotografia. Klaniam sie!

Hi Grazyna,

excellent composition.
The stairs build by giant blocks and only slightly stronger light and thin shadows defining them from wall blocks. They create great diagonal on which 1, 2, 3, 4 silhuettes pin on them, all of the same space between them and divided by direction just through the centre of the photo.
This is so inteligently build composition with all the elements just right.
A perfection.

Taken on what we call Boxing Day - I can't help thinking from my recent experience of Paris that he must have a very cold bottom - your observation is wonderful here Grazyna - the spacing of people and shadows perfect and nice to see that you have posted the scene in all it's dull light - I often feel many photographers are not true enough to the greyness of the Northern hemisphere. A perfect composition!

Kazdy ma swoj cien. Nawet w nocy gdy spi. Cien wtedy za szafa spokojnie zamyka oczy.
Czasem posrodku dnia usilujemy zgubic go. Oszukac. Niestety najczesciej to nie wychodzi.

beautiful effect of shadows on the wall and great composition!
Also like a lot the geometry of the POV and the game between different dimension of people, shadow, stones, wall, steps....

un petit réajustement des niveaux serait le bienvenu, pour plus de brillance,
bravo pour le timing, le point de vue frontal, le graphisme, l'espacement régulier entre les personnages et leurs ombres, c'est trčs trčs bien vu,

loved the compo and the graphism in it... but did you specificly want it to be that dark grazyna?... i tried a brighter workshop, and even converted into black and white... i am sure you tried it that way also... all the best dear...

Reminds me of your "Double" photo, it must be the same place. You caught well the reflections and owners in a single frame.
The sitting man looks very carismathic with his glasses, boots and cigarette :))

Like, if you stopped in your run and try to catch a breath...
Hey... There they are... Diagonal setup of marionettes... Stairs and people. Repeated millions of times in every trend of photography.
For pseudo-professionals. For pseudo artists.
Stairs and the people. How many times did you see that motive, Grazynka ?
The easiest way of producing the pseudo art.
As easy as photographing the pavements, abandoned boats on the shore, people at the end of the tunnel.

Yet...Those shadows in there...
Possibly - they saved the day...

Zabawne. Zabawa w geometrię. Cień, człowiek, cień, człowiek... diagonalnie. Odwróceni do siebie tyłem, jakby sztuczni... I chyba z tej sztuczności najwieksza zabawa :))

Kompozycyjnie bardzo bardzo.
Bardzo podoba się mi bardzo.

Natomiast mam mieszane uczucia co do ostrości i kontrastów.
Ostrości zostawmy na inną okazję, na inne danie :-)
Ale np., moim skromnym, jest zbyt duży kontrast pomiędzy 0,0,0
ramką a resztą bitów, tak jakoś mi się napisało :-)

Very nice from a graphic point of view, Grazyna, with the alternation between shadow and reality. The framing is just right. But to be honest, I think it suffers a little from the narrow tonal range--why not widen it to use the brighter ranges somewhat? It would be even more graphic, I think. Still, I would love to have my own "lesser" shots be this good. Regards, Ken.

Witaj,
Urzeka mnie w tym zdjęciu magiczne, przymdławe światło, ale przede wszystkim jego kompozycja. Powiem inaczej, geometria. Matematyczna, precyzyjna równość. Taki Matrix (nie ze względu na okulary kolesia), w którym równo cięte głazy, cienie i postaci tworzą świat zamknięty w czarnej ramce.

belle composition avec ces escaliers qui séparent la photo en deux et ces ombres qui semblent faire apparaître deux autres personnages, surtout l'ombre de l'homme qui semble s'amuser ŕ singer son original, le fait que les deux personnages se tournent le dos est vraiment intéressante et créé en quelque sorte un vide intéressant

Salut Grazyna,
J'ai élue cette semaine ma 100e favorite mais je ne peux pas ne pas mettre cette photo dans mes favorites, alors j'en élimine une!
Je découvre ce soir ta galerie grâce ŕ Francine (Faubry) et... j'adore ce que tu fais.
Mais lŕ je reste sans voix devant cette extraordinaire scčne de théâtre... j'aurais tellement aimé assister ŕ la représentation!
Un extraordinaire "dos ŕ dos" avec ces ombres qui précčdent ou suivent le lever de rideau. J'avais fait un WS juste pour éclaircir un peu mais je vois que bostankorkulugu est passé avant, donc je ne le poste pas.
