Photographer's Note

I had not posted a photo of a breton chapel on TE for a long time ! So here is one taken a few hours ago, on a nice winter light, in Gestel (Yestael in breton), a little town close to Lorient in the south of Brittany.

This is Saint Flamine chapel. It was built in 1952 in place of a former roman chapel built in 1870s and destroyed on World War 2. It stands in woods surrouding the small river Scave which is an affluent of river Scorff. You can find the chapel following signs off the centre of Gestel on the road to Pont Scorff.
