LObservatoire du patrimoine religieux recense 71 270 édifices religieux (toutes religions et propriétaires confondus) au 15 décembre 2016. Selon sa base de données, on relčve au 10 janvier 2017 50 127 édifices qui seraient dédiés au culte catholiques ou dorigine catholique (églises, chapelles, tous états confondus y compris les ruines et les vestiges)

Good density levels with excellent sharpness and superb color and saturation. Punchy light contrasts & effective tight framing. The provincial church makes a fine focal point. Tfs!

Cela ferait une bonne occupation lors de ma retraite parcourir la France le long en lage de ahut en bas et compter voir si les chiffres sont justes. Quelle église et vue la végétaiton ces vitraux le rendu sur la pierre et ce jeu de toit avec l'angle et le contraste mervielleux

Bonjour Philippe,

That is a lot of churches!
This is a lovely old building, with an interesting layout, including a tower with wind-vein.
Only in seasons when the leaves have fallen, will you be able to obtain this view.
The winter light is lovely, illuminating the facade and revealing the details nicely.
I like how you have included the hedge, in the f/g, which gives a pleasing opening to the building.

That is a lot of churches all waiting to be photographed:-) Excellent capture of this fine example. I like the point of view looking through the succeeding hedges, which help give the composition depth and perspective. The image is perfectly exposed with excellent colour contrasts and exceptional clarity. Very good rendering of the textural detail in the stone walls.

Only the question how much are open during the day!
Second question, how much to become still used!
Notwithstanding this are almost all wonderful architecture buildings with a big history.
You play wonderful with light and shadows

Les arbres cadrent bien l'église. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'architecture de l'église. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

The architecture of this church is typically French in my eyes with its clear patterns and detail of the stonework. Nothing to distract the eye from the subject with lovely natural framing and superb colour rendition. Excellent capture, Congrats

Bonjour Philippe,

Le patrimoine monétaire du Vatican est encore au beau fixe, surtout qu'ils demandent aux municipalités de payer pour les rénovations et que cela marche encore. C'est parfait pour les papagolfeux.

Ensemble trčs intéressant qui forme cette église simple, dans ses murs met en valeur la fenętre sur la droite, qui semble gothique, ŕ la fois les arbustes et les haies qui l'entourent, et les branches nues des arbres, ornent le tout.
Trčs beau coloré, dans quelques tons, trčs attrayant.

non so se il dato che ho trovato sia giusto, ma ho letto che in Italia ci sono circa 22.000 chiese, un numero molto inferiore rispetto alla Francia, anche facendo il confronto con la popolazione e l'estensione del territorio.

Bien présentée cette église, un bon angle et une plaisant luminosité, c'est idéal pour la mettre en valeur d'autant que la netteté de laphoto est parfaite. Intéressante note ŕ propos du nombre d'églises en France ... cela en fait des sujets d'intéressantes photos !

I always see a lot of photos of French churches here on TE indeed, and this one is beautiful, especially with this well maintained garden in front of it, giving more life, colors and beauty to the image!
