The beach of Cap Ferret on the edge of the Bassin d'Arcachon ... with a winter sun a beach in off-season mode deserted by holidaymakers but with beautiful villas of different style ideally located by the beach.

These high set houses on the beach look similar in design to the old high set Queenslander wooden homes, also built high to avoid flooding and catch any breezes on hot days. Good trio of sharp images. Tfs!

Hi Jean,
Interesting collage of these seaside villas. They have a lot in common. Facade towards the beach, verandah and fence. Mainly light brown colours. And still they are unique and make a lovely combination.

Twenty year ago we get the same picture at the Belgian coast, today come the people also in winter to the Belgian coast, much older people and retired.
Fantastic colours too

These villas look to be beautifully designed, the perfect sort of place to enjoy the joys of sea and beach, especially with such easy access! I think I could be persuaded to spend a holiday here!
Your photographs are both sharp and with delightfully saturated colours.

Nice series of houses. They are all so attractive, probably very expensive. Each one deserves a dedicated presentation with a unique design. The light was very nice as well.
