One of the most grandiose sites in the Pyrenees mountains, the snow-covered Cirque de Gavarnie. High rocky walls dominated by peaks reaching more than 3000 meters. This exceptional setting is rightly classified as a Unesco Heritage.

Hello Jean,

This does look like a beautiful site, which you have captured in an excellent composition, using the river as a strong, dark guide line, towards the 'u' shaped valley, interspersed with contrasting trees and glimpses of exposed rocks.

Tu as bien capturé le déplacement du courant de la rivičre. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des montagnes. Le reflet de la lumičre a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Again a nice panorama view, about the valley area
We get a nice view about the calm river, and contrast trees.
Perfect sharpness and clarity.
Also colours are natural, and nice to look at.

Bonjour Jean, a very cold scene, it makes me shiver just looking at it!
It is very beautiful, the snow enhances the mountains, so that we can see the rock formations.
The single man is perfectly placed in the composition.

Bonjour Jean,
J'étais ici il y a prčs de quarante ans. Mais dans la saison d'été.
La composition est magnifique avec la coude de la rivičre.
Je remarque quelques personnes ŕ gauche et ŕ droite. Ils nous donnent une bonne idée de l'immensité de ce magnifique paysage hivernal.

Wonderful landscape with these imposing mountains that form this circus, the circus that these form is impressive, the river flowing through the valley completes an ideal photo.
Yesterday and today we had a tremendous snowfall in Madrid that has completely paralyzed the city, if tomorrow I can prepare something I will upload it.

we have illusion the wall of stones is few meters ahead, but as we can notice, the river is longer than this. nice view with the scenery completely snowy.
