At the edge of the Arcachon Bay, a small beach on the Cap Ferret peninsula, in the hamlet of Petit Piquey ... between sand and wooded dunes, here in low tide version.

Bonjour

The low tide has revealed the rippled patterns and textures of the sand as the water . The bg yellow red white sandy beach is a different sun bleached colour to the almost black sand at right. Good sharpness and colour and best of all, when the tide is in, there are no sharp oyster shells to stand on! And sea urchins seem to prefer rocky areas as well. Tfs!

Bonjour Jean, a sharp contrast from your previous shot, although I notice that this was taken this month.
A lovely sharp shot that makes the most of the lovely colours and textures.
There is even a reflection of the trees captured in the water.

Bonjour Jean,
beautiful natural scenery with the pattern of the sand at the low tide making such a lovely foreground. The light was optimal to emphasize the wrinkles on the surface.
The trees bring in the green color.

Hello Jean,

This is a very well composed photograph, defining the very natural elements of beach, trees and sky.
What makes this stand out from the norm is the deeply patterned textures of the wet sand. They grab immediate attention, we can imagine the feel of the ridges on bare feet!

La longueur de la plage donne de la profondeur ŕ la composition. La prise de vue permet d evoir les détails de la plage et des motifs sur le sable. La lumičre rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

A very nice view with very appealing and well-saturated colours. The beach and the green trees behind it look great in the bright sunshine. The patterns in the wet sand were also well included in the foreground.

A fine shot at low tide of a very well defined scene that has undoubtedly benefitted from the best possible warm light light and colours. The textural detail of the sand is the most intriguing element of this capture along with great layout and perspective. Blue sky makes a lovely combination that you have made what would usually look a fairly normal shot look attractive, Well done.
