I have been trawling through my catalogue of old photos, trying to recapture that holiday feeling. This was taken in Nice on the Promenade des Anglais. I think this sums up the feeling of space, and possible escape!

Hello David,

A quiet contrast picture with the dark bicycle with pole.
But the silver stars on water make your picture presentable.
An excellent composition and nice presentation.

Good idea for an original composition, good silhouette effect, nice perspective with the sea of Nice town. Difficult time with Covid 19 in Nice ... maybe a new local lockdown for the next days ?

Nice is a place that we only visited once but ... what a great destination, in its own right and as a starting point!

The simple photograph says a lot!
Just the turn of the front wheel has added an implied expression which would not have been present, had the wheel just been facing forward!
