Built into 806 by Théodulphe, missi dominici of Imprerator Charlemagne, the Carolingian oratory of Germigny-des Pres is one of the oldest Christian sanctuaries of France still upright. This remarkable building destroyed by a fire one century after its construction was completely restored between 1867 and 1876.

Oh, what a lovely picture of a lovely building. The wonderful soft shapes and natural colors makes for a very pleasing image. Composition is good, you chose the right side to picture I recon with that charming bush in the front.

Maybe I would want a little bit more sharpening?

Que nos aînés soient remerciés de nous avoir laissé un riche patrimoine historique.
Saďd, cette petite chapelle est trčs curieuse au regard de son architecture pour la région. C'est un véritable régal pour les yeux. Jolie composition. L'ensemble se détache parfaitement sur ce beau ciel bleu.
Note d'accompagnement trčs intéressante (je vais finir par ętre instruit, si je retiens tout ! ;-)))).

La lumičre est parfaite, le ciel aussi (et ça compte ;-)

Belle netteté de l'image également, qui fait honneur aux vieilles pierres.

m ... je me sens tout ŕ fait égarer, eh bien je m'adapte .... en effet belle église romanique, bonne point de vue et j'aime l'atelier encore plus.
