Metade ( Half of me)
Metade de mim se acalenta e goza
A outra chora e se descontenta
Metade de mim foge do que sou
Aoutra me contempla com entusiasmo

Metade de mim morre de medo da solidao
Enquanto a outra se completa com ela
Metade de mim encontra resposta na arte
A outra se confunde toda vez que entra em um museu

E me acustumei a ser assim
Duas metades que se encontram quando sonho
A sombra dos meus passos em dias de sol
E o reencontro comigo mesmo qando chove la fora



Half of me run away
The other half sets down and cheerish myself with excitement
Half of me is afraid of loneless
While the other half finds herself in it

Half of me finds all the answers in art
The other gets confused every time I got inside a museum

And then I got used to be like this
Two other half who meet each other while I am dreaming
The shadow of my bare feet in the sunny days
And the reencounter with myself when is raining outside

This photograph was taken outside the Louvre, this man there made me wonder, as his head seems to be of his neck, and the shadow, tells us about ambiguity. How many times, i saw myself seeting like him on the branch, with my head out somewhere, being guided about my silly heart. And other times when I barley let my own heart speak.

This is a portrait of the self, a portrait of soul and ask us who we are? How many we are inside. Shadows - reflex - hats in the head? So who you are?
