Photographer's Note

This is a weathercock in Vaison la Romaine. The principal attraction of this city are, as you can imagine, the Roman ruins, but the old city is very very nice, with the old stone houses covered in flowers and beautiful panoramas on the valley! The old village is on a bluff hill, and you can get there crossing a roman bridge watched by medieval towers, now transformed in beautiful houses. The Haute-Ville is a dedalus of little cobbled streets and fountains prickling in the sun of Provence. Very mice place indeed!
I fell in love with this iron weathercock! I find it romantic and charming, perfectly agreeing with the wonderful place and the atmosphere in which their owner live.
