Photographer's Note

Located on the ‘place de l’Hôtel de Ville’ (the Town Hall square), the Opera was built at XIXth Century. Designed by Charles Millardet and built by Pierre Louise, it was inaugurated in February 1836. Its originality was to be integrated in a project which included accommodation and commercial galleries.
The Opera, which was restored in 97-98, is the main part of the oriental face of the square, just in front of the Town hall which you will see part of it as a WS.
