...i admire those people who keep running and jogging and riding no matter what the weather is like... running for good health... running away from the big city stress...

...Frankfurt may not be the most beautiful city in Germany, but it has a special place in my heart now as i met my good old friend Sakis there, the beloved former TE member Athapan... We spent around 6 hours together and every minute of it was fun...

Hi Korkut,

Aren't we? Always on the run...
Love this photo. Dinagonally placed lines with great perspective enhance the feeling of movement already made by man running.
Slight and gentle curve provides a subconscious feeling of running in circles...
meaningless running?...
A great graphism with even greater symbolism!

Ya şöyle ayrı da bir link koysana , bir yandan da şarkıyı dinleyelim , ayrı bir pencereden link koymayı eğer bilmiyorsan en iyi arkadaşın Ric'e sor sana öğretir:)
Adam koşuyor ama sanki sprint yarışlarında olduğu gibi bisikletle gidiyor gibi, bakış açınla iç bükey merdivenler bu hissi yaratmış , hava soğuk olmalı şortla görünce ben üşüdüm.S&B iyi seçim zaten normal hali de gridir herhalde.Yerde yapraklar var, ağaçlar nerde acaba...

Exactely! My friend with whom I didn't had dinner yesterday love running under the rain and the cold and he does it everyday and right now he's playing football...A force of Nature those guys are!
Olá Krkt, excellent dedication to the 'forrest gumps' of the world, the runner perfectly placed as entering in your frame. And you didn't forget about the graphics...it's cool that we can feel his movement on his blurred body. But the best laugh is in WS, specially the Mary Poppies version ;-)

Hi Korkut,

stunning graphism. Love the way the curved lines hypnotize us. The guy running at the top of the image reveals your expertise about timing. B&W version could not be better. It was could but I see you had great time in there...the image is the ws shows that :))

O beyaz şeyler kar mı??? Yoksa havada uçuşan, yerlerde sürünen ıvır zıvırlar mı?
Baksana senin soğuk diye şikayet ettiğin memleketlerde elin adamı çekmiş altına taytını koşuyor. Yani neymiş, "always on the run" imiş...
Ben monitorüme sığmadığı gerekçesiyle dik kadrajlı fotoğrafları sevmediğimden, bunu da daha geniş bir kadrajda yatay görmeyi tercih edebilirdim. Ya da bana büyük bir monitor alalım bir daha hiç böyle yatay dikey muhabbetine girmeyelim :)

Buyaşta koşarsın tabii. Biraz evvel karı koca iki saatlik sabah yürüyüşümüzden döndük, perişan vaziyetteyiz!
Bu kare de evvelkiler gibi, muhteşem resim geometrisi ve kadrajı ile son derece başarılı.

Muhteşem gerçekten koşan model çok şey katmış kareye eminim normal yürüyen bir model olsaydı bu kadar hoş olmazdı

Your characteristic skill with placing the figure in the frame and angling the shot so creatively when you spot these possibilities with lines and shadows is here again in bucketfuls but for me - and simply as a matter of personal taste - I would have loved to see a pan on the runner into the frame or a faster shutter speed to show him more sharply and graphically - don't know if it would make it better but just what i find myself looking for..!? ;-))

Always on the run or running away from...? Certainly one of your very nice dilemmas that so artistically express thru fotography. I like the side lines and the more pessimistic b/w. Being low in spirits these days it is certainly the worst ailment for my mood but great challenge to my aesthetic standards

basmakların bu kadar kirli görüntüde olması benim adıma işi biraz bozmuş... belki son fotoğraflardan sonra artan beklentim böyle bir ukalalık yapmama fırsat vermişde olabilir :)) tipik korkut karesi ama "hadi bunu da çekeyim, bulunsun" türünden gibi... yani son 3 kareye göre... yine ukalalık ettim biliyorum... naapalım sende çıtayı bu kadar yükseltmeseydin :))
ps: zeynep'in notunda kuzey ile ilgili bir durum olduğu görünüyor.. umarım önemli bir şey değildir... gecmiş olsun...

as i am runner i couldn't missed this one, excellent framing including a large part for the stairs,
the runner slighty blurred gives an impression of speed.

Yes my friend, the days when I used to exercise myself are past gone and barely remember how good it was, how well I was and how everything seemed right and bright. Now there is less free time, many obligations and far more little time to sleep. The 24 hour days are long gone, now the days all have 28 hours!!!

I love running, now I cant and I miss it, hopefully soon I´ll be on the track again... I love this composition because of the simplicity of the lines, the geometrical composition, the tilt is fantastic, also the fact of the B&W, colors are not important here, the point is in the composition... "Always on the run",that`s Germany and it keeps you warm.....
I live 70 kilometers from Frankfurt and have been there only a few times,mainly for concerts or sportevents.I don`t like the city.
Good composition with this sportsman and these stairs in the foreground.Good choice of this format .

Bayiliyorum bu havalarda boyle ince seylerle dolasmalarina ...sadece ben usuyorum onlari bu sekilde gordukce.
Diyagonel merdivenler, uzerindeki beyaz lekeler, merdivenlerin golgesi ile S&B bulusmasi nefis. Eline Saglik.
Bir hastalik durumu var galiba. Biliyorum tip mevzuatinin pirisin ama yine de zencefil, elma, kakule, muskat, karabiber kaynatilsin...icilsiiiiiin:)
