Photographer's Note

At Christmas I visited once again my old homeland Germany.

This picture was taken at dusk on the pastures around the small town Luedinghausen. This area is part of an area called Münsterland. A region with old farms and agriculture ... but also with old moated castles with exciting stories and legends around it.

Hello Peter,

This is a lovely photograph.
You have captured a mood of utter tranquillity.
The silhouetted trees, against the evening sky, show up really well, whilst the f/g tree gives immediate impact and creates a fine sense of dept.

with the mist forming on the ground there is a really nice atmosphere created,the silhouetted tree makes a fine frame to the scene.

Hej Peter,
Detta är ocksĺ en mycket angenäm del av Tyskland och helt annorlunda än Härjedalen. Vi har mĺnga passerat här pĺ BAB 1 resp. BAB 43. Din text och din bild antyder att det finns mĺnga goda skäl att stanna här och se alla vackra "Wasserschloss" här. Din bild är mycket vackert komponerad med mjuka och tilltalande färger.
