Photographer's Note
Part II of my series about the flood disaster in northwest Rhineland-Palatinate and southwest Northrhine-Westphalia.
A more than 40 m long row of electric debris piled up on a site in my hometown which had only recently harboured a roaming circus. I wonder how long the strech of street might have been where all that stuff was carried out of flooded basements and first floors.
The number of victims has increased to 164 now.

Hi Sven, impressive new pic made yesterday. The sun is back and it's time to count the budget of the disaster, and here we see thousands of euros gone up in smoke. We hope that the death toll has stopped, all my solidarity with your village and the others affected by this tragedy. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Salut Sven,
Une autre intéressante vue au sujet de ces terribles inondations qui ont frappé ton pays, c'est impressionnant tous ces appareils détruits ! bien cadré, un bon reportage, tfs.

Hello Sven, It looks the worst. What to do with all this debris? I can't imagine the scale of this flood disaster. thanks for the reportage. I live very near the Vistula river. some years ago the situation was threatening, but ended well. But seeing the floods, I am scared that it could happen also in Warsaw.
