somewhere on the autobahn

Photographer's Note

This is the first picture i take from our car at the autobahn. I posted the picture in the tunnel earlier on TE. 140 km/h

I was with a collgue driving towards the Autosalon of Geneve. We had all the equipment in our car. We where driving in a BMW 530i from BMW Netherlands. There was a electric roof. I put it open and take some shots. I want to get the reflection of the hood. My camera was on manual. I want to have a lot of speed in my picture. Here i think my shutterspeed was a bit to fast, but i personally think there is some speed in this one.

Thanks for you comments on my first '140 km/h' picture. Now i now where i can found my settings of the picture.

good you have the car hood in front. It looks strange.

Robbert opgelet met snelheid, wel leuk maar gevaarlijk, maar uw foto is zeker gelukt, een BMW van deze klasse laat toe om weinig beweging te krijgen. Hij is lekkerscherp en toch voelt men het rijden, goed gedaan. Wat zag ik, verandering van cv foto!

great shot of the bonnet and the up coming tunnnel too, you have caught the road blur so i like that, it gives us that sense of movement. The reflections off the bonnet is very nice too, well done

There is some sense of speed in this one, Robbert - mostly looking across the blurry asphalt and towards the blurry concrete pillar on the left. The reflection on the hood, that includes the car in front, is nice. Interesting shot.

Yes, you had to use a slower shutter speed, but still some blur can be seen on the left side of the road. I like the reflection on the hood. I would do a great abstarct out of it. Isn't it scary to stant up in this speed?

Good action shot, Robbert. I like the 'warp-speed' effect on the road, around the car. The reflection on the bonnet and the white line leading us to the tunnel are also good. Very well captured.
