A military parade in East Berlin at the time when the wall was still up.
I posted this picture (an original B&W negative, recently scanned) also to add it the specifical theme opened by Polonaise.

this is a scan, right? Well, I like it!
Especially, the simetry of the photo, and the B&W contrast. It fits perfect to it.

Hi, Giuseppe, that's a great photo! The simetry and the seriousness of B&W seems to fit with the theme of the image. Have you been to East Germany? All this mobility was allowed? These soldiers still march in a nazi's style, taking their legs very high...

Hello Guiseppe,
This photo really takes me back to the "old" days of the 1980s. It is definitely a period piece with very good elements of symmetry, shadow, some graininess (and a little bit of noise from the scan, but nothing that takes away the impact).
Your title is excellent.
I'm really glad to see some of these older shots increasingly on TE. I want to see more. Bring them on!
