Το Λιμένι εντυπωσιάζει με τη γραφικότητά του και τη διατήρηση των μανιάτικων χαρακτηριστικών στην αρχιτεκτονική.Ήταν το επίνειο της Αρεόπολης και κατά συνέπεια το λιμάνι της οικογένειας Μαυρομιχάλη.Το παλάτι του Πετρόμπεη Μαυρομιχάλη έχει αναστηλωθεί και ο τετραώροφος πύργος του υψώνεται επιθετικά στο τοπίο.Ο οικισμός παραμένει γραφικός και όμορφος.Δίχως πολλές παρεμβάσεις μοιάζει σαν ζωγραφιά όταν τον κοιτάς από ψηλά!!!

Limeni impresses with its picturesque beauty and conservation of Mani's architecture.It was the port of Areopolis and therefore the port of Mafromichali's family.Petrobey Mavromichali palace has been restored and the four-story tower rises to scenery aggressively.The settlement remains graphic but beautiful.Without many words,looks like a painting when you look from above!!!

late but not to late my thoughts about this splendid composed capture, like a lot the sharpness and texture of that impressive building, the background of the blue sea and sky is also marvelous!
