Photographer's Note
Anafi is a small relatively unknwown island in Cyclades, just east of Santorini. In fact only through Santorini can one visit this place by boat which takes 1 1/2 hours. However this place has some of the best unspoiled beaches in Greece.
Besides that, Anafi -the name means something that appears suddently- is a Rock. In fact it is the second largest rock in the Mediteratian sea after the Rock of Giblartar. The legend says thet the God Poseidon heard the plea of a sailor that was nearly drown and made this rock to appear so that the sailor would get refuge. The stip rock is about 750 m height and the north face is almost vertical. On top of the rock there is -what else- a church. In Anafi there is one vilage about 450 m from see level in the highest area of the village there is a small square with - what else- a church
This picture was taken in that square, facing west to the island of Santorini. You see you can enjoy beautiful sunset not only from but also facing Sandorini.

Hi Konstantinos,
You really have a very good light here. Although a good light is one of the most important things for a photo, we all know that it is not enough. You also need a nice exposure, nice cadre etc. I think you completed the rest. Very nice point of view.
Thanks for sharing...
