Temple of Athena Aphaia X, a photo from Attiki, Attica

Photographer's Note

One of the most delightful Doric temples of Greece, the temple of Aphaia is located atop the pine-clad Mesagro hill on the northeast end of the island, and it is encircled by excellent views of the Saronic Gulf and the surrounding area.
Excavations on the site denote the use of the hill as a place of worship since the Bronze Age while the first architectural elements were erected on site in the 7th century BCE.

Excelent light and shadows play within the ruins and culumns of the teple. Great clearity and contrast to fine blue sky.
the presence of 2 ladies adds a vivid tone to pic. and scaling the size of the place.

The historic past of Gréce is effectively suggested by this still grand and magnificent architecture. The light, the colors, the neatness are excellent. The feminine human presence is pleasant. Salut Vasilis,

Tu as représenté le temple d'une façon trčs impressionnante. Le temple majestueux se dresse devant un ciel d'un bleu magnifique.

J'aime la lumičre arrivant de biais sur les colonnes et le chapiteau qui reste dans l'ombre. Bien vu de décentrer le temple et d'ajouter des personnages.
