A group of interesting clouds flying over the bay of Alinda at sunset, on their way to the south. In the distance, across the sea, it looks like the coast of Turkey is having the same weather.

Hello Ourania,
beautiful nature and really apt title refering to the spactacle we see.
The clouds in combination with so warm and soft light look magnificent here.
Although captured just few days ago,the scene has something warm and relaxing in itself.It reminds me definitely the summer.

una giornata dalla particolare limpidezza, forse anche per il forte vento come lasciano immaginare le onde, ma ottima occasione per cogliere al volo la presenza di queste nuvole che passano velocemente nel cielo lasciando in esso disegni alquanto piacevoli a contrasto con il sole che illumina la scena e con i suoi raggi le rende dimili a batuffoli sospesi in aria.

Cette photo brise la ręgle des tiers mais est trčs belle surtout ŕ cause de l'espace que tu laisses au ciel et aux trčs beaux nuages. J'aime aussi la luminosité sur les maisons blanches du rivage.

Hi Ourania,
A beautiful sky, one of those that has a sense of movement that I feel I can see. If I look long enough, these do start moving, especially the one in the dead centre. That one actually looks a little like a Yin and Yang symbol rolling playfully along.

So what music do you hear to this? For some reason, I hear Fur Elise :)

A beautiful photograph in which, I agree, those glorious clouds really are the "stars of the show"!

A very simple yet appealing composition in which the dark sea beneath certainly makes us look upwards to the beautiful sky. The light is quite low angle and that has helped to illuminate those lovely puffy clouds perfectly as well, of course, as the builings on the headland off to the right.

Beautiful light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

You have chosen a nice title for this very appealing composition. The clouds really seem engaged in a very joyful performance. It looks like a jet-fighter also danced its way across the sky while protecting the border. There should have been another jet-stream in the background too, since it takes two to tango - or so the cliché goes ;-).

This is a substantial picture of the pre-sunset sky, there are so many lovely and interesting elements that make it spectacular. I like very much the composition and the fascinating colors and patterns spreading across the sky. Most wonderful I find the nicely lit clouds and the lighthouse in BG as well as the excellent light reflections on sea water. The dark steel blue water anchors the composition and the distant bright mountains add nice hue to the scene. The atmosphere is really suggestive. Well done my friend.

So, this is what the Aegean looks like in late November. I have studied Google maps and your photo and concluded that the Turkish coast visible from here should be the vicinity of Didyma, am I right?
I love the evening hues reflecting off of the eastern shore.

This type clouds get we almost always between cold and warm water, clouds out of the first convergence zone.
Nice depth and perspective picture.

I love the 'big sky' here and the repetition ofthe cloud patterns. Good sharpness and well composed with the low horizon line. Nice contrast between the well lit promontory at right juxtaposed against the darker shadowed headland at left. Tfs!

I was concient of the beaty of clouds after posting and reading notes in TE
And yes, here they seem to be part of a ballet, a white one like the the Swam Lake
Wewll composed capture but still the protagonist are the dancers ( clouds)
Interesting to see Turkey from this POV, thanks for the information
May be you and Chris can comunicate with clouds of fire like the american indians
