Photographer's Note

This jet rescue boat painted on a wall in Thessaloniki caught my eye, along with the less artistic tagging and the motor bike parked at bottom right adding a touch of reality. Not much I could do about the orange concrete ramp at bottom left. I tried a crop but it didn't improve the image at all.

Bonjour Chris,

Le scooter attire le regard. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'art de rue. La lumičre donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Interesting juxtaposition between the virtual jet boat and the more prosaic scooter. Pity about the tags but all part of life's rich tapestry these days. Well exposed with good colours and clarity.

In Thessalonika they have to hire the young people on one of Gert's last photographs to remove the ugly, inartistic text from the good graffiti. The performance of the boat deserves all our attention and those ugly texts disturb too much.

Partly good graffiti, partly ugly and destructive. In any case a wall worth a photo. Instead of following Rob's suggestion to hire the persons from one of my photos you could hire me. I made a WS just for fun.

C'est trčs original comme murale. J'aime le fait que le fond soit blanc ce qui fait bien ressortir les détails . J'aime aussi le scooter ŕ l'avant plan.

Beautiful orange color against the white painted with blue dots wall. The scooter on right added a reality check.

I think the postprocessing in WS is very good, the main subject here is the mural, not scribbles, the boat itself is painted very neatly,

Its a nice balanced capture, creative street art with message can be a terrific subject when it wraps itself round the structure of the building as here. It's the bold orange colour that strikes the eye as good interpretation of the image. Great find and excellent shot.

Cette nouvelle "mode" de peindre sur les murs est plaisante et vaut beaucoup mieux que les graffitis (ce qui ne les empęche pas a priori).
Le respect des autres ne semble pas préoccuper les graffeurs (les méchants).
