Hello György,
I suppose I understand which person you are referring to, but according to her clothes or freckled legs I wouldn't draw any conclusions of her nationality. How do you know she's not Slovakian? This is very much a nothing special, but it still has that street view atmosphere that I like.

Hi Gyorgy,very funny pic, in fact the irish people are common very pink and her legs are a perfect example, i remember nordic people of this color on the beaches after a sunny day..ahhaa...another original scene of daily life,well done! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Gyorgy, Well observed funny scene in the street. The contrast of her pink legs with the woman in black dressed in the warm things is fantastic. I have no idea from where she could be. My son also goes in sandals even in winter (when there is no snow) but not in shorts.
It was in the middle of April, so she supposed that it should be warm.

I had to smile at your assumptions! I have an Irish daughter-in-law and she would certainly not be dressed like this!
My other thought was ... 'Is she a 'postlady''; that is a lady who delivers the post to the houses. In our area, all the postmen or women are supplied with a uniform, shorts being part of the uniform. They seem to wear shorts all through the winter. On being quizzed about their apparel, they say, as long as the body is really warm, the legs are okay!

Again, your photograph inspires a narrative. I was more interested in the lady with blonde hair, wondering why she was turned towards her companion, rather than preparing for crossing the road! !!!!
