Hello György,
I am surprised to find a place in Hungary looking like the "water village" in Brunei shown here recently by Paul and me. Is it just a ploy to create something looking exotic to attract visitors, or was there a deeply felt need to live in cottages on stilts? It's certainly attractive for photographers, and finding a desk chair on the jetty gave you a great opportunity. I like this slightly absurd view and the contrast of pink foreground and blue sky. The main photo is easily more attractive than the WS.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Gy,
You create a nice depth and perspective picture with the gangway that lead us to the houses.
Nice composition good presentation too.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John

Hi Gyorgy!
So you went there!! I asked you about this place and I put star on the map. Looks nice, but I saw more spectacular photos. Anyway, I would love to go there. Very interesting.
Thanks for sharing :)
have a nice Sunday

Hello Gyorgy,
I immediately felt that this was a staged photograph, as you might find in a magazine, to attract viewer attention. Well the seat is waiting for someone, possibly the viewer!!!
It was a surprise to find a water village, like this, in Hungary. I have only ever viewed them as being in Asia.
However, I love your use of the available features, for composition and interest.
I read your response to Gert. How sad that visitors have so little respect for the people who live here, trying to secure a living! Let's hope the new conditions have the desired effect!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Gyorgy,
You used the jetty very well in the foreground and it connects that old chair in the foreground nicely with the floating houses. It also creates a nice diagonal through the vertical composition.

Hi Gyorgy, truly a unique and unexpected place in Hungary, a typical village of the Far East in Europe! Two very beautiful photos, unfortunately the other WS brings us back to reality with the proximity of the plant that ruins the background, however a very interesting and well done post. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Gyorgy
Houses over a lake isn't what I would have expected in Hungary. A good trio of photos of them and an interesting surprise with that chair in the main one.
cheers

Hi Gyorgy,
Impressive wide angle view from this special place of floating houses. I would not have guessed something like that in Hungary. That chair is a funny foreground object. Judging by the looks, it has stayed outside for quite a while.

Intriguing shot, Gy. A bit bizarre to see that office chair there, then the wooden planks lead us zigzaggingly to the buildings/construction higher up. Along the way we pass a sunken boat. Well spotted, well executed. That's a fine photographical capture!
