Calm sea, a photo from Reykjavik, Reykjavik

Photographer's Note

Picture taken this morning sometime around 6 in the Reykjavík harbour. The heat wave continues with temperatures of about 24°C, exceptionally hot for Iceland and Reykjavík. The Nauthólsvík beach in town was overfilled yesterday as people enjoy the sun and taking a swim. The cold ocean water (~10°C in summer) is heated up to about 18-20°C by geothermal water. In days like these, many take the day off from work to go to the beach or spend the day somewhere else outside.

Nice picture with good colours and great sharpness, water details are excellent. Background could be darkened a bit, if any expert is around to explain how, I also have many overexposed pics.

Great shot,excellente water details.
But the sky is overexposed, i gonna try to do a workshop for you(I'm not a expert in photoshop, but i'm trying to learn something) , i also have alot pictures with white sky.

Nice picture, indeed beautiful and calm sea, great mood and colors, I like the wave and reflection created by the boat in t his clam sea, well seen.

The movement of the water is captured really well, and is in great contrast to the very calm smooth surface of the sea in the background, The sky could do with a little more definition, Great Shot!

Excellent picture. This glassy sea is always a favorite and you have captured it perfectly. The POV with the end of the sea wall. You can almost smell the salt air in this photo.

Beautiful shot of a very serene-looking seascape.

I think you've captured quite a "mood" here, and one can almost FEEL the movement of the water, so well-photoed is this shot!!
