If you ever want to experience true Icelandic winter temperatures than you need to stand on this cliff edge!

It was unbelievable how windy and cold it was up here.
I will never forget it.

We spent a couple of days out on glaciers in Iceland and it wasn't as cold as it was up here!!

Not sure exactly how high we are from sea level, but i'm sure its at least 300 feet. Man, the wind was howling up here, so much that my eyes were watering, I could hardly take a breath without loosing my breath.

And trying to even stand up straight was a challenge. Using my tripod was a challenge too, but I did it somehow. I can remember having to run back to the jeep every few minutes just to keep my fingers from falling off :)

But when you are out here the views are spectacular. I'll post another photo in the WS.
Both photo's were taken in the evening at sunset. Here you can see the famous black sand beaches of Iceland.
