Photographer's Note
Ha'penny bridge over the Liffey River in Dublin got it's name from the toll that used to be charged to pedestrians that used it to cross the river.
This is only my third post and thanks to the people who've commented so far on the other pictures. I am still a newbie to TE and trying to work out how to comment back and critique others is next on my list...
Thanks!
Kev

Welcome to TE Kevin,
This is a beautiful photo, with fantastic sharpness and a very interesting POV and composition. I don't know why but all those coloured lights seem to give it a Christmas feel :), in any case a very pleasing capture. Have a great time on TE, it is great fun,a great community, very helpful technique wise and more than a little addictive
Regards
Kathryn

hi Kev,
Trekearth has taught me the phrase "The blue hour" which I'd never come across before, but you have captured it here excellently. Lovely viewpoint of the bridge as well, unique in that you are showing it from the southside of the river, and with a great calm reflection. LIke Kathryn says, that green light does look quite festive!
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Best wishes
Noel
