Photographer's Note

This shot was taken just after topping the Healey Pass, which connects County Cork to County Kerry on the Beara Peninsula. On the Cork side, it is windswept and dry and as you pass this large rock that obstructs your view, suddenly this comes into sight - a valley that is lush and green from where you stand, all around you, looking all the way out to sea.

On this day, the cloud patterns were changing so that you could watch the shadows move along the ground in the valley below.

I've raised the levels to lose the grey hue that the old camera I was using at the time, sized and sharpened a little with USM.
