This is an oldie, taken on colour print film. It is the bridge over the River Blackwater near Youghal (pron: "Yawl"), County Cork. The photo was taken on the County Waterford side of the river.

Excellent shot with bright colors. These rays of light are very graphical.

Quite a change of pace for you John and one which proves that your talents are not restricted to landscapes. Strong compositional lines and well judged exposure are the strengths of this image.

Something about the smoothness of the bend in the road you've shown make this a peaceful picture. The navy blue of the water adds a bit of atmosphere and a feeling of nighttime, but without taking the focus away from the headlights themselves.
