Before the night comes, a photo from Donegal, North

Photographer's Note

Hallo there,
I took this picture in the area called Buncrana Castle in co.Donegal. If you want me to be honest I wouldn't recomment it at all. There really isn't much to see, and when you read 'castle' you are expecting something, right? Apart from one single tower you won't see much more than the walls of an old castle, however everything is hidden or re-done so that it isn't really that attractive anymore. I went through my photos from this place and the most interesting was the brige - that tells you everything.

Buncrana (Irish: Bun Cranncha) is a town in County Donegal, the northwest of Ireland, located on the Inishowen peninsula, along Lough Swilly, 10 kilometres from Derry and 43 kilometres from Letterkenny. It is an historically important town, with Neds Point Fort lying to the north and being the home of the O'Doherty clan. It is the second largest town in County Donegal and the largest on the Inishowen peninsula.

Witaj, Może i nie widać zamku, ale wszedzie umiesz znaleźć coś ciekawego i to pieknie pokazać. Podoba mi sie ten kamienny most, są odbicia, ciekawe chmury, nic więcej nie trzeba. Pozdrawiam

Czarna chmura nadchodzi!!!
Bedzie downpour!
Fajne są takie miejsca na zdjęciach, potem jedziesz a tam...LIPA. Ale ten particular mostek jest mind-blowing:)
Można tam wejść? Albo czy istnieje jakaś lekka mozliwość?

Dlugo sie zastanawialem gdzie i kiedy Ty to zrobiles, az w koncu sobie przypomnialem. Kolorystyka bardzo naturalna, mnie by kusilo zeby podjasnic.
Nie mniej bardzo starannie jak zwykle wykonanie i jak zwykle o wiele piekniejsze niz w rzeczywistosci.
Chyba sobie w koncu kupie ten filtr ;)

instant of the castle i can see this old arch bridge,that create perspective and depth in the scene.I like the good management off the subdued light,a the tranquillity of the region.Well done.

Love the dramatic sky set against the approach of the bridge..like a lone warrior preparing to face the storm..cinematic effect..all it needed was an element in the gf water..

Pierwsze wrazenie - pomyslalam, ze to jakis most we Francji, ale po chwili uznalam, ze te ciężkie zwizające niemal tuż nad ziemia chmury to tylko tu :)
Bardzo podoba mi sie kompozycja kadru.
Od strony technicznej - zdjecie, jak zwykle, doskonale.

Olá Dariusz, uma linda paisagem com esta ponte sobre o rio. Gostei do ângulo que escolheste, ficou tudo na medida certa, água, arvoredo, e céu.

You might have been disappointed with the castle, but this capture surely would make up for it. It is dramatic, bold, vivid colour, has good natural framing, a wonderful water reflection, great detailed sky and interesting subject. I think this is an excellent shot. Well done.

Przepiękne zdjęcie tej rzeki i mostu wtypowo irlandzkiej pogodzie. te przedwieczorne chmury wyglądają naprawdę groźnie. Doskonale wydobyłeś żywość kolorów. Perfekcyjna ostrość.
