Lough Tay #2, a photo from Wicklow, South

Hi Folks,

I want to share with you another shot from my trip to Lough Tay with Mkamionka. Although I have been in this place few times since, I was never lucky enough to get as good weather conditions as that day. It is no doubt the most spectacular place within Wicklow Mountains.

Lough Tay is a small but scenic lake set in the Wicklow Mountains in County Wicklow, Ireland. It lies between the mountains of Djouce and Luggala, and is most easily viewed from above, from the R759 or the Wicklow Way as it descends past the J. B. Malone memorial. It is fed by the Cloghoge River, which then drains into Lough Dan to the south.

The northern coastline forms part of an estate belonging to the Guinness family; it is edged with a beach of startlingly white sand, imported by the landowners; the similarity to a pint (a glass) of Guinness therefore seems somewhat intentional.

amazing how you can have so much light with the heavy dark clouds looming above.
the terrain is is beautiful, magestic and seemingly goes on forever.

Ja tez ostatnio przebieram w zdjeciach i naprawde nie moge sie zdecydowac -wlasnie jeszcze jedno ze zdjec tego jeziora biore pod uwage... To swiatlo bylo niesamowite i kazde moje zdjecie stamtad jest zupelnie inne.
Bardzo intrygujaca kompozycja. Mam troche wrazenie jakbys tu draznil sie z odbiorca ucinajac jezioro w najciekawszym momencie ale rozumiem ze chodzilo Ci o pokazanie tej panoramy w oddali ktora wnosi tyle glebi. Jak tak zrobilem tez w swoim uploadzie.
Chumry sa naprawde niesamowite atmosfera naprawde jakas nieziemska. Tak sie musieli czuc apostolowie kiedy Jezus zabral ich na gore przemienienia: szczeny im opadly na nieziemski widok...
Mocne kontrasty wzmacniaja dramatyczna atmosfere. Mam tylko wrazenie ze moglbys jeszcze mocniej odszumic wtedy powierzchnia jeziora no i chmur bylaby taka gladziutka. Ale to osobista preferencja -wiem ze odszumianie czasami studzi dramatyzm z lekka.
No coz zycze sobie i Tobie zeby takich miejsc i sytuacji klimatycznych bylo wiecej, na przyklad w najblizszy weekend.
Aha podsumowujac: doskonala fotografia!

This photo shows that light always prevails over darkness! (:-) Well, jokes apart, this lovely landscape is really enriched by this strong and fine contrast between the dramatic sky and the illuminated side of the hill. And of course that fine reflection has a mesmerizing effect! I love the shades of different and delicate colours, yet so intense and alive like in a good old painting. It's a romantic image in its true and more positive meaning.

The dramatic lighting is the key element in this splendid image. It brings a sense of wonder and perhaps foreboding to the landscape. A well composed image with immense depth, but it's that light that makes it for me. Thanks for sharing.

Kolejny ciekawy kadr z malowniczych Wicklow Mountains. Podobno gdzies w tej okolicy krecono sceny do "Braveheart". Podoba mi sie to ciezkie, olowiane niebo i jego odbicie w jeziorze. Poza tym ciekawa kolorystyka gor i ladne boczne swiatlo.

swietne miejsce niedaleko Dublina. Tak sie sklada ze raz tam bylem, mam nawet jedna fotke z tego miejsca calkiem podobna do twojej. W przyszlosci moze wrzuce widok na prawa strone tego jeziorka. Pogoda ci nie dopisala ale moje zdjecia z tego miejsc tez sa saro-bure! Kolorki fajne bardzo naturalne no i swietne grozne niebo. Jedny, slowem udana fotka.

ladne sa te Twoje irlandzkie krajobrazy. Tutaj raczej jesiennie to wyglada chociaz robione w grudniu. Dobry kadr i milutka gra swiatla i cieni. Podoba mi sie.
