Photographer's Note
This was taken at Castlegregory beach on the Dingle peninsula in County Kerry. It was a windy day and combined 2 exposures to show the sands blowing over the beach.
This days is strong in my memory as my car got stuck on the beach that day! After trying in vain for about an hour to try and dig it out, we were the only ones there, a farmer came along in a tractor and towed us out! I was never more grateful to see a farmer in my life!
Thanks for looking,
Patrick

a difficult task well done. tried to get that movement of the sand at spurn on the day I took 3 of my recent postings here, but I didnt succeed as wella s this. The colour palette of warm gold sand, blue sky and green sea is pleasing (and similar to the one I got with a little tweaking) I wonder if you sufferered from sand in the eyes (and everywhere else) as i did.

Hi Patrick,
you have really made something out of nothing.
This is a fantastic composition with great foreground and incredible wide view. The sands seem to move in your photo indeed.
Great photo,

Hi Patrick,
Two things about this picture that strike me is, a wide angle lens well used.. as it's a simple landscape that's made to look interesting.
Secondly, a HDR well done..
Good job,
Thanks for sharing..
Prashant
