Photographer's Note
Santo Stefano di Sessanio is a fairytale village established in the 1100's in Abruzzo. It is being "revalorized" now and is a wonderful place to stay for daytrips to Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio, and all the surrounding towns and mountains. One of the most beautiful villages in Italy (I think).
This shot is from the mountain slope to the north, on the way to Campo Imperatore, looking across the lentil fields to the village across the valley.
