Photographer's Note

Almost in all the coastal towns of the Mediterranean Sea the inhabited centres were built with houses leaned each on others, with narrow alleys, small squares, bell towers, hidden courts arches.

That in order to defend oneself against the sun, the wind and to create natural defences from atmospheric agents and possible enemies.

These structural elements, characterized by the chaotic overlapping of the volumes often was inspiration’s source of the big innovative movements of the contemporary art.
