Photographer's Note

These are Tremiti's Pagliai (Haystacks), three rocks in a Caribbean water. Where there is no wind water here seem a plate of glass, but the wind enhanced the turquoise color! In any case is a wonderful place, in September you can be there almost you and the wind, few tourists and a warm sun!
Tremiti Islands are a marine park, part of the Gargano natural park, so you must leave your car in Vieste or Peschici or Termoli, on the coast and take a boat. On the island of San Domino (the one with the great part of touristic accommodation) you can only walk to go to the the many coves, all almost beautiful like Pagliai one. It's a bit fatiguing, but walking in the Mediterranean pine wood is really a beautiful experience.
It's impossible to arrive to Pagliai just walking, you must use a boat, but you can use "aqua-taxi": rafts, guided by local people, that will take you where you want in the arcipelago in less than ten minutes!
Please remember to not take marine animals out of the water: in many areas of Tremity Islands it's strictly forbidden, in other areas is simply a crime against this wonderful nature!
P.S. I'm sorry for the little over sharpening, I can't find a better way to resize a photo that originally is 1,6MB!
