Holy boats, a photo from Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Photographer's Note

I took this picture when I went back home after an intense working day. It was late afternoon, with much
light all around. Some clouds were obstructing the sunlight coming from the sky, letting spots of light pass by and hit the sea, giving this sort of "holy beam" to the boats (actually tankers).
I had the need of some relax so I decided to take another way to go home, now I can say it was a lucky
decision!

Interesting, but I think that the composition and the focus is not well at all. It seem to need something more...

Complimenti per la foto, molto intensa, la luce gioca un ruolo fondamentale e tu hai saputo cogliere un momento proprio favorevole!
A volte cambiare percorso č un "rischio" ben ripagato!

Hello enrico,
What a perfect composition!. The trees and leaves , kept blur, provide a perfect framing. And the boats that stands in the light is a great idea. I love these tones so close to B&W.

Ola Enrico,

Not a picture that I can shoot after a day's intense work! The lighting made this image unique, sort of a 'sighting' shine. Though the fuzzyness makes it more intriguing, dreamlike, surreal effect. At first I thought those were only tiny fishing boats...Holy Tanks!
