Photographer's Note
It was a pleasant afternoon in November when we were looking for a bar after visiting the forum...the sun was setting and I liked the view of the half being in shade.I know it's a bit dark.I expect your critique, thanks :)

Hello Olenka,
I like the nice rays of light hitting the old ruins and the view over the famous Colosseum.
how was the weather in Rome at that time of the year?
Olenka, you'd certainly get a bit more feedbacks if you took the time to write notes...even if it's only a sentence...
Have a nice day!

Hi,
Nice photo. However it's good to adjust contrasts and midtones. Also the sky is just washed out. I did a workshop for you. I like the composition. But the lights and contasts are just too weak. Also in such photos adding a frame is often a good idea. Why? To create a border:)

Hey Olenka,
A very nice picture of this excavation site in Rome. I like the POV and the soft texture of the clouds. Well done!!! TFS

I agree the sky could use a little darkening and the picture needs a little more contrast overall but it's an excellent evocation of ancient Rome. Makes me want to visit!
EDIT: just added a workshop to show you what I mean.

Nice shot! Its always dusk that's the perfect time for ancient ruins!! One suggestion though, when you resize pictures to be smaller, you should slightly increase sharpness in Photoshop or whatever editor you use. I notice that this picture should be much sharper in the original than at this size.
Have a great day!
