I want to add another picture to the ones Ive already posted about this theme.
Here you can see one of the sluice-gate that controlled the input of sea water and the small railway for the wagons which carried the salt.

A very beautiful series. I like this sky with these beautiful clouds which contrast on the blue. The pov gives a lot of depth and rails and walls give a beautiful perspective.

Bellissimo il POV per questa bella immagine delle saline Donato, mi piace molto come le nuvole esaltino la prospettiva creando un unico punto di fuga e conducano lo sguardo sul promontorio, ottimo lavoro!!

Ciao Donato,
grande sensibilitŕ per questa interpretazione che malgrado la giornata nuvolosa evidenzia la dismissione delle Saline di Stato.
L'atmosfera che si registra in queste giornate č fedelmente riprodotta e questo č gia un risultato eccellente.
La tecnica e il POV assolutamente indenne da critiche.

A great place to visit - interesting history and a good subject!
I like the strong, but also calm colours, the hues are very subtle, and nice for eyes.
I like the composition also, as you included these extraordinary clouds!

I think that sky was the real reason for the composition!!! It's really amazing how much deapth it has and how imposing it is. A real great view anyway with very good perspective and great colors

Questo č veramente un bel cielo, polarizzato e (mi sembra) leggermente desaturato. Le nuvole sono esposte alla perfezione. Curioso che la metŕ bassa della foto .. č un'altra foto, in formato seppia!
Dietro c'č il "mio" Tratzalis (e il Serpeddě, se non erro).

chissa' perche' le saline ci affascinano? sono umide, fa caldo, portano zanzare, aria appiccicosa e quant'altro - eppure, eppure... sara' che e' bello vedere il sale che resta dopo che l' acqua e' evaporata. io sono sempre un po' incredula - possibile che tutti qs. cristalli erano proprio la', in quell'acqua..?
ti ringrazio per questa vista "fresca" delle saline, la prospettiva e il cielo danno profondita' e respiro...

Questa mi piace molto di piu' rispetto a quella dell'altra volta, mi sembra che l'hai scattata con le spalle rispetto all'altro pov, il cielo e' non e' sovraesposto e crea quella bella atmosfera drammatica.

Proprio nulla da dire Donato. L'amalgama totale rende la foto veramante piacevole. Il nuvolone č di un realismo superbo.

A good series of the same topic. This is also interesting in showing closer some important details of the system. The POV and composition are excellent. Even the clouds are supporting the good perspective effect. You have controlled the light very well and the colours are beautiful and natural. Ottimo lavoro!

Very good depth, and both the different lines (the rails, the canal, and the side of the salt pond) are driving the sight to the background, exactly in the same way as the clouds. Cleverly arranged.

Wonderful bit of old time industry that is seen in great detail as the old rails sit under a beautiful dramatic blue sky with the lovely clouds.
The colors are fresh with exceptional sharpness to this fine coastal landscape.

Donato, when I see your shots, and those of the others from Sardegna, I feel like it is a long gone memory brought wonderfully to the foreground of my memory. It is hard do believe the salt business is no longer there in the city, not that it was anything special it was just part of the Cagliari that I knew. Your work is nicely detailed and the color is always so true. Great post and thanks for the memory.
